The Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5 was a British biplane fighter aircraft of the First World War. It was developed at the Royal Aircraft Factory by a team consisting of Henry Folland, John Kenworthy and Major Frank Goodden. It was one of the fastest aircraft of the war, while being both stable and relatively manoeuvrable. According to aviation author Robert Jackson, the S.E.5 was: "the nimble fighter that has since been described as the 'Spitfire of World War One

Kleur donkerrood met een donkerbruin leren zadel. Deze zeer zeldzame en zeer speciale Indian Prince motorfiets bevindt zich in een zeer originele ‘barn-find’-conditie! De motorfiets is, waarschijnlijk voor de tweede wereldoorlog, eens van nieuwe lak voorzien. Deze fantastische Indian toont onmiskenbaar zijn leeftijd, maar alles functioneert zoals het hoort! Deze historische ‘survivor’ toont een prachtig ‘vintage’ patina dat enkel verkregen kan worden door letterlijk ‘te rijpen’ in een schuur op het platteland.

De 347 cc-eencilinder viertaktmotor levert ongeveer 5,5 pk en de machine weegt leeg 127 kilogram. Deze Indian Prince uit 1926 is een heel bijzonder collectors-item!

ENDA BUILT BY THE DUBLIN DOCKYARD COMPANY FOR MICHAEL MURPHY LTD, 1911 the laminated and carved hull with silvered propeller and anchor, lined lacquered wood deck and superstructure with silvered fittings including deck rails, bitts, studded anchor chains, winches, cutaway masts with booms, companionways, open bridge with helm, binnacle and telegraph, stayed funnel, covered boats in davits, stern capstan and other details, mounted on a later back-silvered mirror with angled end mirrors within wooden case with glazed top and builder's plate. Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin, (28 April 1870 – 6 January 1935), was a British artist and illustrator best known for his paintings and sketches of animals, sports, and rural life. Aldin executed village scenes and rural buildings in chalk, pencil and also wash sketching. He was an enthusiastic sportsman and a Master of Fox Hounds, and many of his pictures illustrated hunting Cecil, Funfair. ca. 1900

Vintage Jaques Croquet Set with Boxwood Mallets

Vintage John Jaques Croquet set. A good quality Jaques croquet set in original pine box with Jaques' name painted onto the front and lid. It is with four box wood mallets with guide lines on the tops of the heads and octagonal handles with cord grips. To complete the set there are four colored wooden balls in the standard croquet colors, six bent metal hoops and one winning post with peg clip (the colored bands on the post indicating the order of play). There are also some boundary yard line pegs for marking the yard lines on a croquet court and four colored spring croquet ball markers used for marking the hoops the balls have passed through. The lid has a Jaques paper label on the inside. A great set for anybodies garden.
